Door Window Lifts

Window lifts are the internal components that allow you to automatically wind your door windows up and down, typically via the central control console or buttons set within the driver’s door. Door window lifts can also be connected to the central locking mechanism to ensure that windows aren’t accidentally left open once the truck is locked, which can minimize the risk of theft or even unwanted debris or water from getting into your vehicle.

Many have an in-built safety feature that will cause windows to automatically wind down should they meet resistance (such as an arm or a finger, or even paws if you take your dog on road trips with you) to minimize the risk of accident or injury. This is often only available on driver-side windows, however.
