Canadian Shipping

Big Rig World will ship your products to Canada. As with all international orders, you will be responsible for duties, taxes, and brokerage fees that are collected on delivery by the carriers.

Tax - Canadian Customs assesses taxes on products valued at $20.00 CAD or more.

  • A Goods and Service Tax (GST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) may be due upon delivery of goods with rate ranges from 5 - 15% depending on destination. We highly recommend sending the goods to a commercial or business address, as it is usually the lower tax rate.
  • A Commercial Invoice will be included with your order. It will contain the proper information for an accurate tax assessment.

Duties and Tariffs - The average duty for goods imported into Canada is 8.5% but varies from 0% to 35% depending on the type of product and the country of origin. Most truck parts are in the lower tax bracket, but they do vary. For additional information on exact duties and tariffs on a particular item, please contact the Canadian Border Information Service Hotline at 1-800-461-9999.

Brokerage and Handling Fees - All Brokerage and other fees are for activities related to clearing your products at the border. These fees are collected by the courier (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and not by Big Rig World or the Canadian Government. They will be collected on time of delivery.

LTL & Truckload Shipments - Big Rig World can send you truckload and LTL freight shipments. We prefer you provide your own brokerage that can clear the shipment for you, but if not we can provide these services with a third party.
