Service hoods are manufactured using the same genuine molds, resins, glass fibers and fillers as the original equipment hood providing the best fit and long-term performance for the customer.</p>
<p>Aftermarket will-fit suppliers substitute lower grade resins and increase the % of fillers in order to reduce cost. As you would expect, you get what you pay for. These types of short cuts compromise the strength and performance of the fiberglass, which leads to shortened life expectancy and increased stress cracks.
